The Roving Carnival Band

A rag-tag collection of musical wastrels wandering the woods playing with joy & abandon for anyone who enjoys to listen (as well as for those who don't but weren't able to get out of earshot quick enough).

Everyone is welcome to join the Band for as long as they like, no matter their talent, so the number of players & instruments & performance varies wildly.

The Band have a secret recipe for the most delicious hot apple pie that is passed from player to player but they only remember it while they're part of the band. There are many forlorn-looking musicians dotted around The Forest Hymn who reminisce over its delightfully perfect taste.

They're often willing to help with any task that's asked of them but the travelling life has given them a healthy taste for fun & frivolity (as well as pie) so are quite hard to keep on task. It's best to not expect a job taken on to be done quickly, tidily, or even remotely related to what was requested but whatever does get done—and something undoubtedly will—it'll be done in good humour.

Joining the Band is as easy as pie. Just spend long enough with them and you won't even notice that you've moved on from your home & hollow and are well on the way to the next town over.
